I absolutely adored the charming and romantic atmosphere of the hotel. The old castle, meticulously renovated, had such a beautiful and timeless appeal. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, allowing me to navigate the premises with ease. The general areas were well-maintained and spacious, offering a sense of grandeur and tranquility that made me feel truly pampered.

If I had to suggest one improvement for senior vacationers, I would've liked to see more assistance from the children working there. A little extra support or guidance tailored to the needs of older guests would have made the experience even more enjoyable.

We enjoyed a typical French breakfast in the room, overlooking the green property. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We were also intrigued by the ongoing renovation of the old chapel.

One drawback we noticed was the noise from the nearby highway in the morning, which could be a bit disruptive. However, the peaceful view, the sound of birds, and the delicious breakfast more than made up for it.

The room with a balcony was perfect, allowing us to enjoy our morning coffee and breakfast while taking in the beautiful view. The beds were fabulous, providing us with great nights of sleep. We also appreciated the personal coffee corner in the room, complete with a fridge for our breakfast. The daily delivery of delicious bread to our door was a lovely touch. We are already looking forward to returning to this magnificent place.

Personally, I found the tile/marble floor in the double room a bit cold and could have preferred carpet.
